This is an exciting time to join the new Airspace Modernisation Oversight team. The structure of the UK’s airspace has remained the same for decades, despite an increase in demand from those flying in it - from commercial flights, to military, to private pilots and drones, and many more in between. Following publication of the new Airspace Modernisation Strategy we are now hiring a new team to track, challenge and test the industry plans for delivering modernisation, to monitor and report on progress.

The Role

The Associate will assist colleagues in overseeing and tracking the work of industry organisations, focussing on their progress against their plans. You will help with the effective running of the team by undertaking administrative duties, including minute taking in external meetings and managing meeting agendas and attendance. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring the effective flow of information, including the publication for of reports from industry organisations and the CAA.

About You

We are looking for someone that has proven experience in maintaining good stakeholder relationships, and managing project and administrative tasks, as well as tracking progress against timelines. We are looking for a strong communicator, both verbally and written, with the opportunity for you to get involved with writing reports to a publishable standard. The ability to maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be key in this exciting and varied role.

What Can We Offer You?
