Sitting at the heart of Drum Cussac, the Global Operations Centre seeks frontline Operations Officers for our Head Office in Bournemouth. The role is multifaceted; dealing with live operations, and risk monitoring and intelligence gathering on a daily basis. This is an entry-level position with an excellent pathway into the industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to security requests into the Operations Centre
• React to major security incidents by providing immediate assistance & advice
• Ad hoc travel security-related tasks as mandated by the Management Team
• Provide operational & intelligence support to live operations
• Utilise a range of sources & software to produce timely security alerts on emerging events
• Prepare and distribute travel security advice & risk assessments
• Proactively monitor the security situation in locations where personnel are deployed
• Standby rota to cover RiskMonitor alerts during times of crisis operations

• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office
• Must have a broad geographical knowledge and an active interest in current affairs
• Graduate degree level education or experience to a similar level desired

• Starting salary of £23,800pa – increasing to £25,800 after a successful 3-month probation period and by £500pa for subsequent two complete years of service
• Standby overtime paid at £11.42ph
• 25 days holiday entitlement per annum (including Bank Holidays)
• Normal hours of work are a rotating 12hr shift pattern to ensure 24/7/365 operations
