Britain’s biggest campaigning organisation for the over 65s, the National Pensioners Convention (NPC) is looking for a Campaign Officer to join our small London-based staff.

This job offers a unique opportunity for the right candidate with an interest in social policy and politics to work in the following areas:

• Understanding how Parliament works, including meeting ministers and MPs
• Initiating and leading campaigns at a national and regional level
• Conducting research into specific areas of policy
• Promoting the NPC on social media
• Organising events
• Liaising with other organisations, such as trade unions and charities
• Supporting a committee-based voluntary organisation

Hours: currently 30 hours a week

Pension Scheme: auto enrolment on commencement, then 7.5% employer contribution on completion of satisfactory probationary period.
