Job Title: Communications Officer
Working For: Rights of Women
Salary: £12,400 pro-rata per annum for 2 days per week post [FTE £31,000 Gross Pay per annum] plus 3% pension contribution
Rights of Women seeks a woman* to join our team to deliver communications to shift the public narrative on sexual harassment at work to support underlying policy objectives to improve women’s access to legal rights and justice.
They will work with the Senior Legal Officer (Employment Law) to understand the key themes arising from our advice service evidence base and policy influencing opportunities.
This exciting development for Rights of Women has been made possible through funding from the ROSA Justice and Equality Fund (JEF) which is inspired by the #metoo campaign and TIME’S UP movement.
They will also work closely with the other organisations funded within the ROSA JEF communications network, spending one day per week developing a shared strategy that maximises the learning from Rights of Women’s (ROW’s) work to support the objectives of the network.
Hours: 14 hours per week (2 days per week)
Holiday entitlement: Pro rata of FTE 25 days per annum plus public holidays
Location: Rights of Women, 52-54 Featherstone Street, London EC1Y 8RT
Responsible to: Director of Rights of Women
Line Manager: Senior Legal Officer (SLO) Employment Law
Duration: Fixed term until 30 April 2021; extension possible, subject to funding.
