The Mental Health Network is looking for a PA and Team Coordinator to join our small, hardworking team who work in one of most exciting and dynamic public policy areas – mental health.
Reporting to the Network’s director of mental health policy, the successful applicant will provide efficient and effective PA support to the chief executive and director of mental health policy. They will also provide support to the rest of the team as required, including helping to organise events, updating our website, communicating with members and membership administration.
The successful applicant will be a highly organised person, who takes pride in supporting the team to the best of their ability. They will be self-motivated and have excellent IT skills. In addition, they must able to juggle multiple tasks, and be confident in dealing with senior people both inside and outside the organisation.
This is a busy and varied role that sits at the heart of our team of dedicated policy, communications and management specialists. It offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a solid set of PA and administrative skills, work alongside senior leaders and help further the Network’s ambition to improve mental health services for all.
Great organisational and interpersonal skills are a must and the candidate will have some experience working as a PA or administrator. Strong written communication skills are required, as is an ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. An interest in the NHS, and particularly in mental health, is desirable. This role would suit someone looking to gain experience working in a national membership organisation
