The Role

The Advocacy Officer is crucial in helping the Government Relations Team navigate the UK political environment and supporting Oxfam to achieve impact in parliament. This includes through monitoring of Parliamentary debates and Government announcements, managing the team’s monitoring evaluation and learning processes to ensure we capture our impact, and helping support our influencing work.

The successful candidate would get the opportunity to help write briefing papers, manage Parliamentary events, and meet with and hold relationships with Parliamentarians and their staff.

What we are looking for

The Advocacy Officer role would be ideal for someone with strong organisational/ support skills and an interest in politics who would appreciate some time working across the wide range of Oxfam’s policy and campaign areas.
