An exciting opportunity to join the casework team of INQUEST, a high profile and influential charity, providing essential advice and support to families bereaved as a result of statutory failure or neglect.

We are looking for a committed individual who is passionate about social justice. Perhaps you have been doing front line advice work for some time but have been craving for an opportunity to also influence policy change and practice and raise public awareness. Or you may have great strategic and analytical skills and want to use those skills to influence public policy and be part of a wider movement for systemic change. This new role may then be for you.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in advice and casework and understanding of related strategic policy work. They will possess outstanding communication and organisation skills and will enjoy working in a very fast paced environment.

Reporting to: Head of Casework

Hours: 28 to 35 hours (4 or 5 days)
Length of Contract: Permanent subject to a successful 3-month probationary period
