The District Council’s Network represents over 190 district councils from across England to provide a single national voice for district councils within the LGA, Central Government and national bodies. We are seeking a proactive and solution focused individual able to build relationships and develop policy.

The successful candidate will work as part of a small and effective team to support senior politicians and officers from across district councils to represent their interests with key partners. The nature of the team also means that you will have the opportunity to lead on policy areas, networks and events, and help shape the policy direction of the DCN.

The job is based in Westminster, London and is offered as a permanent role on a fixed-term contract; alternatively we would be very happy to receive applications from council employees on a secondment basis.
