Are you interested in working with Assembly Members from across the political spectrum to hold the Mayor to account and investigate issues of importance to Londoners?

The London Assembly is looking for talented individuals to join its dynamic and highly-regarded scrutiny team, where you will be investigating some of the key challenges facing London and examining the Mayor’s policies to address them.

The London Assembly are looking for people with excellent research and analysis skills, the ability to create high quality written outputs, as well as experience working in a political environment or with politicians.

In these roles, you will be responsible for leading, producing and delivering a wide-range of projects, research, briefings, reports and outputs for the London Assembly, its committees and its Members.
On a day to day basis, you will be liaising with politicians and their teams, gathering and analysing evidence from a range of sources, developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and formulating credible recommendations for action.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders inside and outside City Hall – including senior elected politicians.
