Conservative Campaign Headquarters is seeking to recruit an Outreach Officer within the External Affairs and Outreach Team. The role is full time and is based at Conservative Campaign Headquarters in Westminster.

Directly supporting the Outreach Programmes Manager, the successful candidate will:

• Manage and support external relations as part of the Party’s diversity agenda.
• Manage and expand a diverse and growing base of supporters and partners – as part of the Party’s outreach agenda.
• Support in the delivery of training programmes
• Support the development and maintaining of working relationships with the Party’s affiliated groups
• Plan and deliver Outreach events
• Managing a busy administrative workload as part of a larger team.
• Dealing and following up on enquiries from the Party’s strategic outreach partners and groups
• Research and campaign support

The ideal candidate will have an excellent mix of the following capabilities:

• A strong resonance with the aims and objectives of this role.
• A self-starter with plenty of initiative and drive
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Highly developed written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent people skills with experience of people management
• Experience of working in a fast-paced high pressure political environment
• A commitment to the values of the Conservative Party
