NHS Clinical Commissioners (NHSCC) is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creatively minded policy professional to join us as a Senior Policy Officer.

NHSCC is a fast-paced member driven organisation, with 90% of all Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in membership. We are a member driven organisation and committed to delivering programmes of work that are shaped and developed by our members, and reflecting their priorities and expertise.

The role

Working to the Head of Policy and Delivery you will be part of a small but dynamic team and be expected to provide day to day policy and project support, including:

• Planning, researching and drafting content for high quality publications, statements, consultation responses, events, and member communications
• Scoping key data, statistics and qualitative research on topics relevant to our policy priorities, and briefing colleagues on this as needed
• Engaging with a number of key stakeholders including NHSCC members, health bodies and government departments
• Support the development of content to progress the our work programmes and specific issues for clinical commissioners.

We are looking for someone with proven policy experience, is self-motivated, has excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills. Ideally you will have an understanding and interest in the current policy environment for CCGs.
