An internship at MI5 is like no other. Here, you’ll enjoy a summer of discovery and responsibility, learning how we keep the country safe. It’s a challenge that calls for people from a range of backgrounds with different skills and knowledge, which is why we want you to join our welcoming team.

Over 11 weeks, you’ll help us investigate and disrupt international terrorism. You’ll learn how front-line operations are run, plus, you’ll piece together intelligence and create a picture of possible threats. With mentors, managers and buddies, you’ll help us to protect national security.

So, who are we looking for? We’re after inquisitive problem solvers with real enthusiasm, team spirit, and a love of learning; individuals who enjoy working collaboratively and want to make a positive impact.

You’ll also need to be in your penultimate year of study at University and from a Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic background or a socially or economically disadvantaged background.
