Westminster Briefing is part of Dods Group Plc, Europe's leading political information, public affairs & policy communication specialist. We run half-day and full-day events covering all areas of public policy, from education to health and community safety.

Our conferences are aimed at providing delegates with an understanding of the practical implications of legislative changes and policy interventions. We attract leading figures from Government, the wider public sector and industry to speak at our events, which are attended by a mix of policy makers and practitioners.

Working in our events team and reporting to the Head of Summits, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for the logistical and operational delivery of our events.
 
The role will require the successful candidate to:
  • Support the delivery of Westminster Briefing and Summit events
  • Pre-event preparation, ensure event supplies are fully stocked and organised
  • Attend events, ensuring all event requirements are met
  • Liaise with external suppliers for equipment, couriers, printing & design projects
  • Liaise with sponsors, partners and supporters of the events
  • Arrange travel for staff and speakers

  • Excellent time-management skills

  • Excellent IT skills
Relevant experience:
  • Customer service experience (desirable)
  • Previous experience in an event assistant role (desirable)
