DCMS is recruiting two roles to support the Minister for Sport, Media and Creative Industries and the Minister for Civil Society (and departmental business in the House of Lords). As a part of this role the post holder will have daily access to ministers and senior civil servants which will give successful applicants the opportunity to gain experience in how government departments serve ministers and work with Parliament. The primary responsibilities of these roles are efficiently managing ministers’ times and supporting the work of their offices. Both are essential for ministers and the department to operate at their most effective.
