The Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), the UK’s leading progressive think tank, is seeking a Senior Research Fellow or Senior Economist to join the Centre for Economic Justice. The Centre is our flagship initiative to carry forward the work of the Commission on Economic Justice.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping the Centre’s research agenda and to work collaboratively with others to propose and advocate for progressive economic policy. 

We are looking for a new member of the team with a passion for economic justice and achieving change to help us build on and develop these foundations in 2020.

You will have a strong knowledge of at least one area of economic policy that the Centre or the Commission has worked on. But we also want to hear your ideas on where we should be focussing our attention, and where we could have the greatest impact. You may have studied economics, or you may have gained your understanding and interest in the subject from elsewhere. You may have excellent quantitative research skills, or you may be more adept at understanding and synthesising others’ research. We want to hear from people with a range of different attributes.
