Two New Programme/Policy Manager roles
Programme/Policy Manager -Technology and Innovation Strategy
This role supports the Associate Director of Technology and Innovation Strategy to develop and run techUK’s technology and innovation strategy programme. In particular the planning, organisation and delivery of techUK’s emerging and transformative technology campaigns. The role will also develop techUK’s expertise, insight and foresight on cutting edge technologies, identify opportunities that come from the convergence of technologies as well as develop and deliver thought leadership that that champions emerging new tech that could add value to UK in the long term. The role will also focus on identify upcoming future technology trends that are relevant to members and support the development of coherent and relevant policy recommendations for our members. An interest in current issues and trends in transformative and emerging technologies is required.
Programme/Policy Manager - Data, Cloud and Artificial Intelligence
This role supports the Associate Director of Technology and Innovation in delivering a successful programme of activities across the areas of Cloud Computing, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in order to deliver value to member companies. Also to assist in growing techUK's membership base. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an intellectually stimulating, fast-paced, high profile and creative environment that is focusing on the vital role of key technologies such as Cloud Computing, in driving the UK economy and society forward. The role provides an opportunity to work closely with member companies providing cloud, data and AI technologies that are at the forefront of the UK’s digital economy. An interest in current issues and trends in Cloud Computing, Data, Analytics and AI is required.
Both roles require someone with the following essential knowledge and experience:
- Proven experience of taking a leadership role in event organisation
- Experience of work in a public affairs, policy driven environment.
- Engagement with senior business leaders at board and CEO level.
- Highly competent with Microsoft and MS Office Suite and able to use social media tools
