Programme Coordinator

Our activities are now in great demand, and we are looking for a proactive, highly organised and efficient person to help us to run the Glitch workshops across the country. We’re looking for a dynamic person who is excited to join a small and rapidly growing organisation and help to put in place processes for better coordination and organisation. The successful candidate will meet the following specifications:

  • Demonstrate a friendly and efficient e-mail and phone manner
  • Have excellent administrative skills, including the use of Excel, Powerpoint and Word packages
  • Have experience of events organisation - ideally training/workshops
  • Demonstrate the ability to solve problems and think creatively about how to approach issues
  • Be passionate about the aims of Glitch

Communications Coordinator

Glitch is looking for a Communications Coordinator to help develop Glitch’s brand, external communications, website, media relations and social media presence. This role will use Glitch’s overall strategy, utilise the communications tools we have in conjunction with the resources and number of volunteer hours available to help develop a streamlined, strategic and impactful communications plan and key processes. We’re looking for someone with a creative approach and good grasp of all things social to help us inform and galvanise our social media audiences as well as represent our communications campaigns across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. The successful candidate will meet the following specifications:

  • In depth knowledge of all social media platforms but particularly Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Understand how to create shortlinks
  • Previous digital design experience or familiarity with photoshop or similar a plus
  • Previous experience with Buffer a plus
  • Manage a high-volume of communication initiatives simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Be passionate about the aims of Glitch

First round interviews will be conducted on 10 and 11th December at The Conduit or Skype depending on where shortlisted applicants are based. Start date: As soon as possible.
