Apollo Strategic Communications, a rapidly expanding international public relations agency, is looking for an account manager to work on its growing number of high-profile accounts. The successful candidate, working to a senior account director, will have the freedom and flexibility to project manage, including overseeing specific projects for clients.

This is an opportunity to work with an elite client list that includes foundations, international corporations, national governments and tech companies. On any given day, we work on rich mix of important and topical issues – from the future of cities to environmental policy after Brexit.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience working in journalism or communications. They will have an in-depth knowledge and passion for the media old and new, be able to master complex issues quickly, as demonstrated by a strong academic track record. They will also write well, and be able to work in a team under pressure to tight deadlines. Most importantly, they will have the energy, flexibility, and tenacity to take on responsibilities, and the interpersonal skills to pitch journalists and win the confidence of clients.

On occasion, they will be required to work outside of normal office hours. The successful candidate will be expected to work from home, though will need to attend regular meetings in London.
