CPRE, the countryside charity, is looking for an enthusiastic campaigner with an eye for policy detail who is comfortable working with local community groups as much as high level policy experts. Working as part of an exciting new team, you will help to formulate and deliver a sustainable vision for rural areas, focusing on rural affordable housing and local economies.

As someone with a passion for the countryside and a strong commitment to its long term sustainability, you will work on projects to champion the need for genuinely affordable homes and a thriving rural economy. With ample scope for professional development in the role, you will learn how to sharpen your campaigning skills whilst maintaining CPRE’s reputation as an evidence led organisation.

The successful candidate will have experience of campaigns and policy formulation combined with a strong awareness of strategies for influencing decision makers at all levels. A critical thinker who is not afraid to speak up, your analytical skills will be critical to the work of the team as a whole.
