Shape the agenda on global resources, sustainability + political risk

Critical Resource is a leading advisory firm to resource companies on sustainability issues and political risk. We are currently seeking one to two analysts to work as part of Critical Resource’s core team, gaining experience across a broad range of our work.

Key tasks include:

• Supporting the business development team, including by developing Critical Resource’s leadership and expertise in emerging issue areas; identifying new leads through research on potential clients; building relationships with senior executives to establish us as ‘trusted advisors’; liaising with members of our senior advisory network around the world to identify and cultivate new leads.

• Supporting the team on client assignments, including research into socio-political issues around resource projects, as well as on broader global issues such as Climate Change and increased investor attention on Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG); contributing to analyses for client reports; preparing notes following conversations with regional or issue experts; and supporting project managers in successful delivery of the client projects.
