The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

The External Affairs Officer will support the external affairs team in effectively delivering high quality public affairs, stakeholder relations, media, and integrated communications activity. You will build strong and productive relationships with stakeholders, manage monitoring of the UK politics and health policy landscape, and co-ordinate the Health Foundation’s response to policy consultations. 

To be successful in the role of External Affairs Officer you will need to be educated to degree level, with significant experience of implementing impactful and timely reactive and proactive public affairs activity and have experience of delivering integrated communications plans and strategies that blend the full range of communications disciplines.
