Job Title: Policy Manager
Working For: Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce

We are looking to recruit an individual to join the team in ensuring the effective consultation, representation and communication of members’ views in relation to policy issues which affect all aspects of business growth.
The role will be responsible for identifying strategic areas of concern of local business, setting priorities for action and providing an effective representation and lobbying service on behalf of the Chamber and its members.
This role sits in the heart of the Chamber, reporting to the Chief Executive and an active member of the management team contributing to strategic planning and operational awareness of the whole business
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate work experience in policy related matters and have a good awareness of business, economic and labour market issues. You will possess excellent communication skills in both written and oral format, have a flexible attitude to work with strong organisational skills, and work well under your own initiative but also as part of a team.
This role will be split between Northamptonshire Chamber and its sister Chamber in Milton Keynes and will therefore involve a degree of travel between the two offices and surrounding areas.
