Policy and Public Affairs Manager

Through leadership of the policy and public affairs function, the Policy & Public Affairs Manager will ensure the Trussell Trust strengthens its influence and creates the change needed to end the need for food banks in the UK.

About you

You will have experience in a similar role, with specialist policy knowledge of the structural causes of poverty and hunger in the UK and sound political and procedural knowledge to effect change. You will have experience of translating evidence into clear policy asks, and a track record of managing advocacy strategies to achieve policy change at different levels of government.

Policy and Public Affairs Officer

Through developing evidence-based policy positions and maintaining strong networks, the Policy and Public Affairs Officer will influence policymakers to create the change needed to end the need for food banks in the UK.

About you:

You will have experience of shaping and delivering advocacy strategies and a track record of influencing public policy. You will be a skilled communicator and effective at building networks to embed a collaborative approach to creating change. You will have experience of working with campaigns colleagues to maximise public affairs impact.
