Job Details

  • Do you want to join a ground-breaking, determined and compassionate charity that is leading the fight for child refugees caught in limbo in Europe and elsewhere?
  • Are you a digital specialist, passionate about campaigning and fundraising, eager to lead our digital programme and take us to the next level?

This is a unique opportunity to be at the centre of our work. Sitting within both our Campaigns and Fundraising teams, you will lead Safe Passage’s digital programme to drive online action; manage, develop and grow our channels strategically; and be the driving force behind us meeting campaign and fundraising goals. You will develop our digital strategy with oversight from the leadership team and implement it through expert, hands-on content creation. We’re looking for an exceptional copywriter who can think strategically and has experience in driving action online, including donations.

We value equality and diversity; strive to build a workforce reflective of the communities we work in; and welcome applications from everyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, faith or disability. People with lived experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

Safe Passage grew out of the urgent need for child refugees to access their legal right to reach a place of safety. From the initial aim of helping children in Calais to reach the UK in 2015, Safe Passage now has teams in Greece, France and the UK. We work to open and strengthen safe and legal routes to protection for refugee children, and then support their first steps to rebuilding their lives. Since we started work in 2015, we have directly helped 200 child refugees to safety and more than 1,800 children have travelled through the safe and legal routes we have helped open.
