Job Title: Research Manager & Officer
Working For: The Trussell Trust
Salary: Manager - £34,000 - £39,500 per annum, Officer - £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
Through leadership of the research function, the Research Manager will ensure the Trussell Trust has the robust evidence base it needs to shape its influencing and operational activity, aimed at ending the need for food banks in the UK.
You will have significant experience in a similar role, including a track record of developing and implementing research programmes to inform public policy. You will have mixed methods experience, with an interest in quantitative data exploration and visualisation, and communicating findings in creative and engaging ways. You will bring rigour and expertise to ensure outputs and the use and dissemination of findings are the highest quality.
Through developing and delivering high quality mixed methods research, the Research Officer will generate robust evidence on the structural causes of poverty and hunger, to inform the Trussell Trust’s work to end the need for food banks in the UK.
You will have expertise in mixed methods research, and a track record of delivering research involving frontline service providers, policymakers and people with lived experience of poverty. You will be a clear communicator, with an ability to disseminate findings for different audiences. You will bring experience of using research to shape policy and public affairs activity.
