The Opportunity:

My client is a high-profile organisation in the transport industry, and they are looking to recruit an interim Communications Officer to support the communications team to coordinating events, strategy and meetings. Reporting directly into the Communications Director, this role offers excellent exposure across the communications team and wider organisation as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
Ownership of communications grid, liaising with wider communications team to ensure content is up-to-date
Supporting in the coordination of events and meetings
Supporting communications team on communication collateral
Management of departmental budget
General administration tasks to support the Communications Director and wider team.

Key Skills and Experience Required:
Prior communications experience or knowledge from working in a similar role
Experience working in a large team in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Advance knowledge of outlook and office tools, as well as a good knowledge of budgets and financial information
