Job Details

The UCL European Institute is seeking to appoint a part-time Research Intern who will support our research programme and wider activities on Brexit. This will involve writing and commissioning blogs, contributing to larger research projects, assisting with event organisation and updating websites.

The European Institute is UCL's hub for research, collaboration and engagement on Europe. We exist to promote academic excellence in the study of Europe at UCL, working to provide a leading forum for intellectual debate and acting as liaison between the university and EU and UK policymaking communities. We offer a diverse programme of public events, provide expert analysis and commentary for media outlets and policymakers, coordinate and develop researcher networks, and support a wide range of researchers and Europe-focused research projects.

We have been highly active in commissioning and publishing research on Brexit, including videos, podcasts, blogs, policy briefings, research papers and books. We also manage the UCL Brexit Hub and UCL Brexit Blog. The Research Intern would conduct ad hoc work to support all these activities. One particular early focus of the intern's work would be to support work on an academic workshop on Brexit taking place in the week of 9 March.
