About the role

At Smarkets, our mission is to create and run the best political prediction markets in the world and to make our markets the leading source of information for journalists, traders and citizens. As a result of our recent success in this area, we are now looking for people with similar passion and dedication to join our politics team at a very exciting stage of growth.

You’ll be researching key areas of interest in US and world politics, exploring how to create interesting markets to traders and journalists. You will also have the freedom to take a fresh approach to our markets and potentially have a major impact on the way we drive things moving forward.

About you

You have a good understanding of electoral systems around the world and the detail of how political systems work
You have worked with G-Suite and maybe some productivity tools
You have at least a basic understanding of prediction markets and an interest in political trading
