JNF UK is one of the oldest Jewish charities in the UK, supporting the development of Israel for over 100 years. Our busy marketing team works tirelessly to raise awareness of the work we do - and we’re looking for someone to help assist them.
The role of the Marketing Assistant involves a variety of responsibilities. Primarily it will revolve around task and project management, keeping the rest of the marketing team on track as they juggle multiple priorities. Another part of the job is stakeholder management, working closely with the newspapers and printers that we liaise with on a regular basis. Alongside this, the position will also include generally contributing to the wider goals of the team.
The job would benefit someone who is highly organised, personable, and willing to muck in. Experience in marketing is a plus but not a necessity – interest in marketing is. The position is open to candidates from any background, but they are expected to be aligned with the values and aims of the charity.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Provide support within the Design / PR team with administrative tasks
- Manage print department of all marketing and fundraising materials
- Generate weekly and monthly reports for Management
- Liaise with third-party suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Manage quotes, budget and approvals of marketing initiatives
- Manage multiple media schedules of press and social advertising
- Provide support with generating written content
- Provide support for social media activity

Essential skills and experience
• Outstanding organisational skills
• Excellent project management skills
• Excellent proofreading skills
• At least one year’s experience in a marketing role
• Proficient in the print production process
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and be a self-starter
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
• Good numerical and analytical skills

Desirable Skills and experience
• Experience in charity sector
• Event management experience
• Copywriting experience
