YMCA England & Wales is looking to recruit a Policy and Public Affairs Officer & Research Officer to support its research activity and to help further raise the profile of YMCA and its work for young people.

Working within the busy Policy, Research, Communications and International team, the Research Officer will create robust qualitative and quantitative research on the big questions facing young people and demonstrating the impact of the YMCA federation on local communities and as a national movement. The role will ensure that our work involves the views and experiences of the young people that YMCA supports.

The Policy & Public Affairs Officer will support YMCAs policy function through ensuring our positions are grounded in evidence and will co-ordinate the public affairs activities to engage Government, Parliament, Civil Servants, other tiers of government and relevant organisations. They will also provide a full range of policy and public affairs advice and support to the YMCA Federation.
