Job Details

Central London Forward is the strategic sub-regional partnership covering the local authorities of Camden, the City of London, Hackney, Haringey, Islington, Kensington and Chelsea, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth and Westminster. We work to the direction set out by our Board consisting of the Leaders and Mayors of our member boroughs to improve the lives of our residents. We do this by working together to drive inclusive growth and to ensure our residents can access the skills, jobs, and support required to benefit from central London’s dynamic economy.

Two new Policy Officer roles are now available at CLF – a Skills and Stakeholder Engagement lead, and an Employment and Economy lead.

You will have experience in using best practice and research to develop practical policy and programme recommendations, and excellent skills in communicating complex ideas accurately and concisely. You will have an open and collaborative approach and in return we will support you to build an extensive and powerful network of policy makers and influencers that will shape future delivery in London.

Roles like these are career-defining. You will contribute to projects that will transform the lives of thousands and will have the opportunity to share your insights and ideas on a London and national stage. When you join this busy team, you will make a profound impact on the lives of our local community while setting your own career on a steep trajectory. So, if you’re ready to take on a position that will expose you to forward-thinking projects and innovative thinkers, then we’d be delighted to hear from you.

We encourage you to apply for both roles, and we retain the option post-recruitment to adapt these two positions to suit the skill sets and stated interests of the successful applicants. However, if you are only interested in one of the roles please note this in your application.
