We’re looking for a skilled relationships manager to work with senior national government decision-makers and international thought-leaders on a global project to help tackle the climate emergency by transforming how cities work.

In this role, you will play a central part in mobilizing the active collaboration of our partners and high-profile champions, engaging key national government decision makers, and shining a global spotlight on the urgent need for national government action to transform towns and cities.

You will plan, deliver and support a range of engagement activities including our own global and country events; diplomatic initiatives and bilateral meetings; and speakers for external events. Often these will be alongside or part of the formal agenda at significant convening moments such as the UN global climate talks (UNFCCC) and World Urban Forum.

You will work closely with our communications team to develop high-quality, targeted written materials and advise on the Coalition’s publications to ensure they are relevant and compelling.

You will be at the heart of a fast growing team and project mainly based in London but also in Washington DC, with country programmes in China, Mexico, Ghana and Tanzania.
