Job 1: HEAD OF RESEARCH & INSIGHT
Location: London, UK or Accra, Ghana (other countries in sub-Saharan Africa considered)

The Head of Research and Insight is a critical role, ensuring that the right evidence is being used to increase the impact of tertiary education for young people. The successful applicant will lead the creation and management of ESSA’s digital and non-digital knowledge resources on tertiary education in sub-Saharan Africa, with an emphasis on the link of tertiary education and the labour-markets. They will set and implement the strategy for building knowledge to support investment and decision making across the continent. The Head of Research will manage a small team to provide research support and guidance.
Job 2: DIGITAL AND DATA MANAGER

The Digital and Data Manager is an exciting new position, leading on the creation of a digital platform and digital solutions that will bring research to life and connect virtual communities of policy-makers, funders, employers, young people and educators.
Reporting to the Head of Research, the successful applicant will work alongside the Communications Manager to deliver on the digital elements of the communications and research strategies.

The Evidence, Impact and Learning Manager is an exciting new position within the ESSA team, driving our commitment to evidence-based practice and understanding our impact.
The successful candidate will drive a learning culture within ESSA, using evidence from our own programmes and other sources to improve our impact. They will provide research to ongoing projects and support the development of new projects, collection of impact data during projects and collation and implementation of lessons learned.
