The International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is a policy and action research organisation promoting sustainable development and linking local priorities to global challenges. We work on five continents with some of the world’s most vulnerable people to strengthen their voice in the decision-making arenas that affect them.
The Natural Resources Group’s (NRG) priority is to increase local control and management of natural resources and other ecosystems by working in partnership with networks and organisations in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Through research, dialogue and action, we raise awareness of the key role that small-scale producers and local people play in maintaining their resources and help identify tools and tactics to strengthen their capacity.
To be considered, you must have a degree or equivalent, with a solid foundation of proven management skills of complex programmes. You will work on a portfolio of multifaceted budgets for which you will need to demonstrate your ability to lead on financial planning, reporting, monitoring and procurement processes. To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail as well as a love of number-crunching!
