This role is essential to ensuring the organisation’s core operations run smoothly and are managed to a high standard – in particular, this role will focus on the HR and Finance functions of the Operations Hub. You will work closely with the Executive Director: Organisational Development to ensure all HR policies and procedures are executed to a high level of quality inside the organisation and in line with NEON’s values of solidarity, generosity and respect. You will also work closely with the Senior Finance Manager to support NEON staff with activities related to fundraising and day-to-day finance tasks. You are a people person, and understand the importance of attention to detail.

The New Economy Organisers Network (NEON) is a not-for-profit company with 12 staff members and a network of over 1600 UK organisers from different trade unions, grassroots groups, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), faith-based campaigns, civil society groups and movements from across the country. We run powerful trainings and support campaigns to help progressives win social, economic and environmental justice.
We run trainings, share skills and coordinate together on campaigns helping people to lead movements like Just Treatment (organising patients to fight for the NHS) through to working with our members to get over 1400 media bookings across the UK’s biggest TV/radio outlets. We’re ambitious and the team is agile, fast paced and committed to actually changing things.
