We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Case Manager to join GPW’s London office. In this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on and manage a number of investigative assignments across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will be someone with several years experience in the intelligence consulting sector and a good understaning of geopolitics. Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience in managing asset tracing, evidence gathering and litigation support .

They will be a self-starter who takes ownership in their approach to work, a seasoned researcher with excellent writing skills, and a good communicator. They will also have experience working in a commercial environment; familiar with business, legal and financial terminology and comfortable with presenting findings to clients at all levels.

The successful candidate will report to the Partner leading the Disputes practice, and will mentor and support Junior Analysts in their research and development.

This role requires flexibility as the successful candidate will on occasion be required to work outside normal working hours, including weekends and public holidays, as the requirements of projects may dictate.

Responsibilities:

Case management and case administration;
The preparation and implementation of the investigative and reporting plan;
Briefing and subsequent supervision of analysts assigned to the case;
Identification, briefing and management of external resources retained for the case;
Maintenance of case deadlines, and verbal and/or written reporting to the Client;
Oversight of desk-based research, drawing upon the range of search engines and databases generally available, and those available to the company under licence or other authority;
Other proactive research and enquires as required, including interviews conducted by telephone and face-to-face;
The provision of updates to the Overseeing Director for the duration of the case and to alert him/her immediately to any matters of importance that arise;
Editing of interim and final reports, and their presentation to the Client;
Drafting of proposals, and their presentation and discussion with potential clients;
Development and maintenance of a network in relevant jurisdictions;
Contribution to the identification and development of investigative research resources.
