• work independently on constituents' often complex cases including liaising with government departments and agencies;
• attend surgeries and meetings as required
• ensure all data is dealt with in an accurate, sensitive and confidential manner
• competent use of IT
• some weekend and evening working may be required
• attend local asylum seeker forum and liaise with immigration, asylum seeker and refugee groups
• training will be provided in specific areas of casework
