Let us tell you a little bit about the role....

You’ll be an integral part of a busy national press office, leading on social media activity and planning for the press office, and working as part of a tight-knit team to respond to media enquiries and work with national media outlets to tell people about CQC’s work.
This newly created role offers the unique opportunity to work on media across areas of the Care Quality Commission’s work and be a driver for change in health and social care.

What we're looking for from you...

Ideally, you will be someone with experience of working in a national press office, who thrives in a fast-moving environment, has strong news sense and excellent organisational, relationship building and writing skills.
You will be enthusiastic and committed, with an interest in health and social care issues an eye for detail and an ability to manage a diverse workload with short deadlines.
