Unlock Democracy is a small and creative organisation in need of leadership. As a team, what brings us together is a genuine commitment to making change. We know we’ve got a big challenge on our hands but we’re all passionate about overhauling British democracy. We want to change the level of political participation and improve engagement.

We have a clear vision, and how we get there is part of the challenge in which our new Director will be key. We need you to help us ensure that our operations allow us to carry out the strategy developed by the Council. This may mean facilitating some difficult discussions and helping us to see where we should change.

You’ll be spending some of your time overseeing the campaigns and external communications of Unlock Democracy and some time thinking about how we want to be beyond 2020. You’ll need to bring together ideas from many different places. You'll have the support of the staff team and Council, and resources including both membership and fixed income.
