The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Regional Director to work to head up the South East regional office.

Reporting in to the General Secretary and working closely with the Executive Director of Elections, Organisation and Campaigns, the post-holder will be responsible for the Regional team. The core responsibilities of this role will include, building relationships with Party stakeholders and external organisations, ensuring the Labour Party constitution is upheld within the region, financial management and fundraising, coordination of the Regional Board and the successful delivery of Regional Conference and our local election campaigns.

Playing a crucial role for the Labour Party in the Region, the successful candidate will have experience of strategic management, experience of dealing with the media, the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders including politicians, local parties, affiliated organisations and external agencies and experience of setting and monitoring effective targets. This role is in in Regulated Activity and will be subject to an enhanced recruitment process including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check with check of the list of those individuals barred from working with children.
