As a YMCA Digital Communications Officer, you will manage the organisation’s social and online presence. Working in a vibrant communications team, the Digital Communications Officer will lead on YMCA’s web and social media output promoting our organisation, research and campaign work. The role will focus on co-ordinating and growing the digital activity for the largest and oldest youth charity in the world, alongside working with the wider 116 member strong YMCA federation to ensure alignment of messaging, branding and imagery throughout YMCA's digital channels.

The successful candidate should have experience of working in a complex communications environment and planning campaigns as part of wider communications; knowledge of online campaigning techniques; excellent written and oral communications skills; and excellent attention to detail. Reporting to the Head of Communications, they will have an in depth knowledge of managing social media and communications campaigns. They will also have experience in developing a wide range of targeted communication materials, including utilising case studies and developing digital content.
