At Focaldata, we put our clients first. The Research Lead role will help clients get the data and insight they need about the public. Working directly with our CEO, they will deliver a range of projects for clients, from consumer research for brands to polling for governments to support critical policy decisions. They will collaborate with our data scientists, engineers and technologists to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients. Working in a start-up environment, they will also have the opportunity to work across the company, contributing to product development, content marketing and client management—and help Focaldata build the future of market research.

What you’ll be doing

Run surveys for clients
Design surveys in collaboration with clients
Script surveys on our platform on behalf of clients
Ensure the highest data quality standards on all projects
Manage projects end-to-end to challenging deadlines
Re-run data tables for custom crossbreaks based on client demand using Python or R
Lead client communications
Streamline our process for delivering client work

Deliver analysis and presentations to clients
Analyse the results of surveys and MRP modelling
Write presentations for clients
Create compelling narratives from data
Produce charts and graphs to tell the story effectively

Manage client accounts
Handle all requests from key clients including producing quotes and managing communications
Build long-term relationships with clients

Support our go-to-market activity
Write blog posts about our polls—and market research in general
Develop and execute ideas for polls to publicise
Help our CEO with lead generation and new business

Collaborate with our data science team
Work closely with our data science team to deliver MRP and other projects for clients
Learn Python and R to help deliver projects and analyse data

Contribute towards product development and client support
Help support our clients using Focaldata’s public audience data platform
Develop ideas for new features and tools for users of the platform
