We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and enthusiastic Account Executive. We are looking for someone with a desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Graduate level or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience working in politics, policy or communications.
• An understanding of the Scottish media landscape.
• An understanding of how national and local government operates in Scotland and a keen interest in politics.
• Good copywriting skills.
• The ability to work at speed to short deadlines.
• Digital media skills.

The successful candidate must have the ability to work remotely from home.

The role will involve:

• Research and analysis, including high-quality briefings.
• Engaging with stakeholders, including politicians.
• Attending client meetings.
• Supporting the directors on multiple client accounts, including on administrative tasks.
• Drafting press releases, articles and comment for the media.
• Writing copy for blogs and websites.
