About us

Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting is the world’s only movement for every girl and any girl because we believe that each of them deserves to be the best they can be. Free to make what they want from the Movement, girls learn by doing, make friends and have fun. In safe, local spaces, girls develop the skills and attitudes to change themselves, their communities and our world.

About the roles

We are looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and Advocacy Manager to join us on a part-time basis and support our Climate Change programme.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will lead and co-ordinate the M&E component of the Climate Change programme, ensuring that M&E activities, guided by WAGGGS’ Results-Based Management (RBM) framework, are embedded within the programme, tailored to national contexts, and contribute to ongoing learning.

We are looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer who has experience of developing and designing monitoring and evaluation tools for behaviour change programmes, and experience of supporting non-technical people in a range of evaluation and data collection methodologies.

The Advocacy Manager will lead on the development and delivery of the advocacy strategy for the new WAGGGS Climate Change programme. The role will ensure meaningful engagement with the three WAGGGS MOs engaged in the Climate Change programme (Benin, Lesotho and Tanzania) so that the community mobilisation and national advocacy are rooted in a ‘needs and capacity assessment’ of MOs.

We are looking for an Advocacy Manager who has experience of designing and implementing advocacy strategies, as well as a background in climate change advocacy.

This vacancy is being advertised by Webrecruit. The services advertised by Webrecruit are those of an Employment Agency.
