We are looking for a highly organised strategic thinker with a passion for nature to join the RSPB as our Policy & Advocacy Strategy Manager.
Now is a critical time for the RSPB as we seek to influence public policy for nature post Brexit and in the run up to the crucial UN global nature convention in 2021. As Policy & Advocacy Strategy Manager you will work with policy and advocacy staff across the organisation to drive forward activity under our four strategic policy work programmes, helping to ensure we have the systems, strategy and resources in place to deliver big impact in the outside world.
We are looking for candidates who are highly organised and systematic and understand the role of strategic governance systems. You will have excellent project and people management skills and be able to communicate and influence across the organisation.
Experience working for a large NGO seeking to bring about public policy change and/or working with the corporate sector on sustainability issues would be an advantage.
We are on a mission to transform the policy landscape for nature on land and at sea. Come and join us!
