The Institute for Government is inviting applications for a Researcher position (Job Reference: RES2102). Researchers are responsible for supporting the delivery of Institute research and learning projects in teams alongside senior researchers, associate directors or programme directors.

At this time of intense debate about the role of government and the UK’s position in the world, we are looking for someone who will relish the opportunity to help drive real changes in government’s ability to tackle the country’s problems.

We want our Researchers to make a significant contribution to the Institute’s impact, working as part of a team - initiating ideas, contributing to internal and external meetings and public events, and using a range of research methods to gather evidence, reach judgements and help write persuasive arguments for changing and improving government.

This role could suit people with a wide range of different experiences, including but not limited to research and analysis for government, journalism, a think tank or other organisation.
