An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Political Advisor for the Shadow Health Secretary, Jonathan Ashworth, as part of the Leader’s Office for the Official Opposition.

The post holder will provide media and communications support, policy research, and analysis in the given policy area to the Shadow Health Secretary and the frontbench team, as part of the Political Advisor directorate.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience of current health and social care affairs, knowledge of the Labour Party and its structures, knowledge of the parliamentary process, excellent organisational skills, experience of preparing written and verbal briefing materials and the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders.
