Job Details
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following attributes:
A keen eye for detail
Particular attention to language and grammar
Good knowledge of technology including social media and video editing programmes
Organised and punctual
Good communication skills
The role will include, but is not exclusive to the following tasks:
Updating and management of social media accounts
Writing press releases for local media outlets
Keeping the website updated
Compiling and sending e- bulletins
Meeting with community groups
Attending meetings in the community and reporting back or providing updates as necessary

Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
