Lawrence Wishart is a small, independent publisher focusing on critical left ideas on politics and culture. Through books, journals and events, we foster a space where people can think together, challenge political ‘common sense’ and explore new possibilities.

We’re looking for a marketing and promotions person to work part-time (2 days a week) as part our 4-person team based in Chadwell Heath.

In this role you will develop the potential of LW content through our new website and by broadening our reach to new, more diverse constituencies of readers, writers and subscribers. We are aiming to develop new networks for our published content and find new revenue streams.

We particularly encourage applications from people of colour, queer, trans and intersex people, who are traditionally underrepresented in the publishing industry. Applicants must have marketing, digital content management and website experience, but we welcome applicants who bring creative and innovative perspectives to this wide-ranging role.
