This is an opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual with policy, research, strategic planning and performance management experience to work across the full West Midlands region to develop and deliver on policy initiatives for the 4 Police and Crime Commissioners.

The Regional Policy Officer role is vital in supporting four Police and Crime Commissioners to fulfil their obligations to the Home Office mandated Strategic Policing Requirement. In doing so you will also be supporting the four Police and Crime Commissioners to deliver their own Police and Crime Plans. You will undertake this role as part of four different teams across the West Midlands region, but you will also be required to work independently. In undertaking this role you will support four Police and Crime Commissioners in their governance and oversight function as your work will allow them to scrutinise their forces, regional and national collaborations, thus holding those agencies to account.
